Pool Closing Services
Barton Pool Company is referred to as “Company”.
Mechanical Pool Closing: Includes up to two hours of labor time. Includes doses of sanitizer, balancers, algaecide and up to 5 gallons of antifreeze. Any additional chemicals and/or antifreeze needed will be billed in addition. Removal of return jet eyeballs, pump, filter and heater drain plugs, and gauges. Eliminate all lines of water and install winterization plugs. Handrails/ladders (if applicable) will only be removed if they prohibit the cover from being closed. Homeowners may request for them to be removed regardless of the cover situation with prior notice to the Company.
Note: Complex systems/features (basins, fountains, waterfalls, etc.) that require additional labor/antifreeze will be billed in addition accordingly.
Vacuuming: Includes up to one hour. We will not be able to vacuum if the main drain(s) in the deep end are not visible. Your invoice will be adjusted if we are unable to vacuum at the time of the closing.
Spa w/ Shared Equipment Closing: One filter, one heater and one or more pumps operate both bodies of water. If air locking main drain(s) is not doable, the spa will be drained to ensure proper closing. Homeowner will be responsible to refill water to 3” below tile line. Protecting the plaster is imperative. Please call the office with any questions.
Safety Cover / Tarp w/ Tubes Cover Installation: Cover must be easily accessible upon our arrival.
Inground Spa: Includes draining the spa if needed, removing water from all plumbing lines, plugging or air locking main drain(s) and up to 4 gallons of antifreeze If air locking main drain(s) is not doable, the spa will be drained to ensure proper closing. Homeowner will be responsible to refill water to 3” below tile line. Protecting the plaster is imperative. Please call the office with any questions.
Cabinet Spa: Includes draining the spa and winterizing spa equipment. Spa will remain empty during the winter months. A spa cleaning will be required in the spring at the time of the opening.
