Pool Water Level Requirement for Pool Closings. To ensure a safe and efficient pool closing, all swimming pools must have the water level lowered 12–14 inches below the normal operating level prior to our arrival. This applies to all pools with a mesh safety cover and all pools without a cover. This requirement does not apply to pools with a solid tarp-style cover. If the required water level has not been lowered before our technician arrives, Barton Pool Company will be unable to complete the pool closing. A rescheduling fee will be assessed, and your closing will be rescheduled for the next available opening.

Remove jet eyeballs and handrails/ladders if applicable. Remove pump, filter and heater drain plugs, sanitizing equipment plugs, and gauges. Eliminate all lines free of water, plug and add anti-freeze. Does NOT include cost of Anti-Freeze. To be charged based on usage.

Chemicals: $230 / per 30k gal(Required)

Dose of sanitizer to bring the total gallonage between 7-10 ppm, algaecide, and balancers.

Vacuuming: $250(Required)

Up to 1 hour. We will not be able to vacuum if we cannot see the main drain covers in the deep end.

Install Safety Cover: 25 cents per sq. ft (mesh/solid cover)(Required)

Travel (over 15 miles) upcharge: $35(Required)

Eliminate all lines free of water, plug and add anti-freeze. If air locking main drain(s) is not doable, the baby pool/spa will be drained to ensure proper closing. Property will be responsible to refill water to 3” below tile line. Protecting the plaster is imperative. Please call the office with any questions. Does NOT include cost of Anti-Freeze. To be charged based on usage.
